Record label Nitron will release a new 5-CD compilation at the end of January 2022, which contains the best club hits from the past 25 years. Among the tracks featured is the MTV VMA award nominee "Rasputin" from British DJ Majestic, which brought the famous 1978 Boney M.'s bestseller back to the world charts.
As a reminder, this remix, released on February 26, 2021, is still in the top lists of digital downloads in a number of countries. During this year "Rasputin" has spent many weeks in the European charts as well as in the charts of other regions of the world. For example, in the UK, it was in the TOP100 Singles for 24 weeks, making it to the Top 40 Best Summer Hits. In Belgium, this figure was even higher - 27 weeks. In Switzerland, "Rasputin" charted on the TOP100 single for 25 weeks, achieving gold status. A similar picture was observed in Austria (25 weeks), the Netherlands (22 weeks), Germany (17 weeks) and a number of other countries. Even on the other side of the world, in New Zealand, the single charted for 14 weeks.
This track has been published several times as part of various compilations of the best hits in many countries of the world, as well as on the remix album of Boney M. "Rasputin - Lover Of The Russian Queen", which was released on Frank Farian's MCI record label.
