Boney M. again reached N1 in South Africa, TOP5 in iTunes in India, Canada, New Guinea and TOP10 in several other countries

Boney M. has once again returned to the TOP100 of the global ranking of the top artists, whose records are most in demand in the largest digital download stores of music tracks and albums.

According to the monitoring portal KWORB, which monitors the position in the digital charts around the world in real time, Frank Farian's project has risen by another 30 positions compared to yesterday's indicators and now occupies 84th place, ahead of the perennial rival friends of ABBA.

The bestseller "Christmas with Boney M." has been reaching the top of the South African iTunes charts for several years in a row, as well as TOP5 in Canada, India and several other countries. There is every reason to believe that this figure will improve over the course of the Christmas holidays.

At the same time, the new album Boney M. feat. Liz Mitchell and Friends "World Music for Christmas" entered the nationwide charts in Germany and Switzerland (based on cumulative physical media sales and digital downloads). The album peaked at number 19 on the German digital download chart. In the island nation of Fiji, the album reached TOP5, staying in the TOP200 for a month.

The success of Boney M.'s single "Mary's Boy Child/Oh My Lord" (1978) has been going on for almost 40 years, so every Christmas it is guaranteed high sales.

In addition, the hit lists also included "The Little Drummer Boy" (1981), "Jingle Bells" (1981), "Feliz Navidad" (1981), and even the 1978 disco blockbuster "Rasputin" (well, it's sunny Tajikistan, where Christmas is not particularly celebrated).
