ZDF TV-Garden (ZDF Fernsehgarten) today celebrated its 35th anniversary amid continued quarantine in Germany. During the live broadcast from Mainz, where the main shooting area of the ZDF TV channel is located, there was no usual crowd of spectators, but only the invited artists and a dance support group. But despite this, the festive spring mood literally hovered in the air.
Boney M's group, led by Liz Mitchell, performed at the anniversary show with a remix of their mega hit "Rasputin", which is now hitting the charts around the world, and at the end of the program performed a medley of the most popular songs.
The host of the ZDF Fernsehgarten TV show Andrea Kiewel noted that back in 1978, "Rasputin" was in TOP5 hits throughout Europe and in other regions of the world, and today new generations have learned about this composition through social networks. Since November 2020, more than 4 million videos have been uploaded to TikTok, where young people dance to the groovy disco rhythms of the legendary group created by Frank Farian. The new remix "Rasputin" by British DJ Majestic has already entered the TOP 20 UK Singles and is moving in charts all over the world.
