Более 40 лет прошло с момента старта знаменитого музыкального проекта Boney M., а интерес к их творчеству не угасает. Традиционно в каждый рождественский сезон спрос на их композиции возрастает многократно.
Не стал исключением и 2018-й, когда отмечается 40-летний юбилей пика мировой популярности карибской четвёрки, собранной легендарным немецким продюсером Фрэнком Фарианом в 1976-м году.
На этой неделе группа в очередной раз вошла в TOP200 самых популярных мировых артистов согласно итогам подсчёта количества скачиваний их трэков и альбомов на основных платформах платных цифровых загрузок iTunes и Apple Music. Также отдельным пунктом были учтены результаты запросов на прослушивание в популярном стриминговом сервисе Spotify.
В то же время Boney M. попали в основные чарты, учитывающие продажи в цифровых интернет-сервисах, а также в магазинах по реализации физических носителей (CD и LP). По данным американского музыкального издания Billboard, альбом "Christmas with Boney M." (2007) 11-й год подряд возвращается в канадский чарт TOP100 (в общей сложности он провёл там 28 недель с пиковой позицией N9), достигнув в этой стране мультиплатинового статуса. Похожая ситуация наблюдается в ЮАР, Южной Корее и целом ряде других стран.
В настоящее время отдельные композиции и альбомы Boney M. присутствует в TOP200 чартов цифровых загрузок более 30 стран, включая Великобританию, Австрию, Германию, Австрию, Финляндию, Испанию, Ирландию, Сингапур, Малайзию, Индонезию, Данию, Норвегию, Вьетнам, Индию Австралию, Новую Зеландию, Фиджи и т.д.

According to the American music publication Billboard, the album "Christmas with Boney M." (2007) the 11th consecutive year returns to the Canadian TOP100 chart (he spent a total of 28 weeks there with a peak position of N9), reaching multi-platinum status in this country. A similar situation is observed in South Africa, South Korea and a number of other countries.
Currently, individual compositions and albums by Boney M. are present in the TOP200 charts of digital downloads of more than 30 countries, including the UK, Austria, Germany, Austria, Finland, Spain, Ireland, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Denmark, Norway, Vietnam, India Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, etc.
