Sad news came from Germany. Sven Meisel, heir to the Hansa musical empire, died this week in Berlin. He was only 49 years old.

Hansa Studios recorded the real legends of the world rock and pop scene David Bowie, U2, R.E.M., DEPECHE MODE, as well as German superstars Michael Holm, Gunter Gabriel, Frank Zander, Mary Roos, Rex Gildo, Bernhard Brink, Marianne Rosenberg, Roland Kaiser , G.G.Anderson and many others.

By the way, 69-year-old rock veteran David Bowie was supposed to present his latest album "Blackstar" in Berlin on January 8, part of the sessions of which were recorded at HANSA Tonstudio. However, instead he can get to the funeral of the 49-year-old owner of the famous music house.

With the sudden departure of Sven Meisel, the history of the most creative music laboratory in Germany, which gave the world so many bright names, may end. It is not yet known who can inherit his business and whether the deceased had time to make a will.
